A friend is asking me to rebuild her Asus Eee PC 901 Netbook. Is there anything I should be aware of? I was worried about the SSD and how it's partitioned. Can this be partitioned into one large drive just like a normal HDD? Any tips for where to download the drivers would be great. thanks

I wouldn't recommend a wireless setup for this application. Wired all the way. IMO, wireless is fine for internet sharing, but for file sharing and streaming video I would go wired

I use none. I installed deepfreeze. It's not for everyone, but freezing a fresh install of windows and apps is great.

sounds like you need to do what I did. I have my main office PC hosting all of my files, printers, drives etc. and I keep nothing stored locally. You'll need to add a PC behind the TVs with NIC card to access the drives hosting the movies. I use a remote tool called VNC to access all PCs...

Why is system 2 loading images faster than system 1 (system details below) ? When accessing images across a network, Why would a slower system with a slower network connection (10/100), load images in software faster than a more powerful system with a much faster network connection...

I have a 250 Western Digital External 2.0 Drive (Passport) . I have a slightly older PC with USB 1 and when I plug in the drive, Windows XP doesn't recognize it. Says I need to update the driver, however, there is no driver available on the WD site. Only for Windows 98. Anyone have any...
