    7900gt, 7900gtx or 7950gx2?

I don't really care about SLI. The x1900xt seems like it'll be more than enough to last this year/next year. Would the performance be fine? Also, to the guy who mentioned the 7950gt - it isn't out here (scotland) yet and I'm not sure when it will be released.

    7900gt, 7900gtx or 7950gx2?

I'm getting an ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe/Wireless Edition mobo. Is that bad news if I want an ATI?

    7900gt, 7900gtx or 7950gx2?

I can afford any of them, however, which is the best value? If I were to get a 7900gt I would be able to get a decent soundcard and some speakers and still be within budget. I understand that the 7900gtx has become somewhat of a red herring due to the advent of the cheaper 7950gt. I'm certain...

    amd and ati

I agree with what Breaks said. Intel will always be the dominant processor manufacturer but AMD, by making deals like this can at least cut into the market and produce better products. At the moment Conroe is the badass processor, but AMD are still making great midrange chips.

    Review this build please

What's up with the geforce 8 cards? Worth waiting for? Or at least, worth getting a less expensive card and buying later?

    Review this build please

Oops, mixed it up with the 7800gt. Check this out: http://ebuyer.com/product/106614/product_info/rb/20972997984 To Jet - I'd consider a conroe build but I don't know about compatible components/pricing etc.

    Review this build please

I don't know much/anything about overclocking, however, no doubt I could find a guide somewhere. Would you fellows recommend getting a7900gt 512mb or a 7900gtx 256mb?

Ok, my budget is around £1000 ($1833). Someone please check these provisional specs.

Ok, didn't end up getting that ebay pc (although it is still there). I'm now wondering if there are any parts that could be improved within a £100 range, as in: my budget is now around £1100.

That auction is gone now. I'm gonna contact the seller to see if I can order it direct from his company. The reason I asked about the ram is that I can get the same system from a local seller for a price that isn't drastically higher. And by overkill, I've been told that the OCZ gold ram is...

Bump. Is 2gb of OCZ5400 gold ram a bit overkill? Is the performance difference between a 7900gt with 256mb of ram and a 7900gt with 512 worth £100? ($170 odd)?

Is the Asus M2N32-SLI Deluxe Wireless a decent mobo?

Thanks. I've heard that the onboard sound isn't great but I intend to get a midrange soundcard anyway.

Is the Asus M2N32-SLI Deluxe Wireless a decent mobo?

I have read one good review that has said that this mobo has a very good stability/performance ratio, would like independent views from anyone here. Thanks in advance.

Who has the crappiest PC here?

I just started it up again to have a blast on the Horde! Still works fine. I might get some games off www.the-underdogs.info and put them on a cd so i can play them on the old comp. I'm a sentimental guy.

I definitely want an am2. Looks like i'm getting a standard nvidia 7900 512mb too, I hear that is excellent for overclocking, bar some issues with certain manufacturers.

Damn. You gave me hope for a second... The seller seems very good though. I sent them a quick email asking how much it'd cost to upgrade the ram to 2gb OCZ XTC (+£80) and to change the case to a Tsunami Dream (£39). edit to ask: I keep reading about AMD pricecuts in the near future, will these...
