VT HD3650 1GB AGP Card - Best Offer

I've never had to use low-profile cards or brackets but, assuming my research is correct, this card will be too wide to fit your computer. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. -Michael

VT HD3650 1GB AGP Card - Best Offer

I'm selling a VT HD3650 1GB AGP Video Card, best offer takes it home. It was never abused, used for a few months of light gaming (mostly runescape) by my kids' mom's brother (not sure what to call him, since she's gone now :D). Link to specs Again, make your offer via PM if you're...

Macbook Pro 13.3" - Serial Number

I brought it back and, after going in the back behind the see-through curtain for 5 minutes chuckling with his two nerd-buddies while glaring out at me, I ended up getting a refund. The only thing they would offer me as an exchange was an open-box Macbook Air, and they wanted me to pay an...

Macbook Pro 13.3" - Serial Number

I bought an open-box MBP 13.3" tonight at Best Buy and got it home to find that the serial number on the MBP itself and the one on the box are slightly different. Obviously, this doesn't seem right to me. Anyone here think that Apple will give me a hard time if I ever need warranty...

I was like "Whoa! 50 seconds on a Pentium 166Mhz?!" Then I saw the '15m' to the left of that, lol :D

What sort of laptop I should buy?

Sorry for the late response, I've been busy all weekend. I put my Toshiba, for lack of a better term, through hell and back and it looks and functions like the day I bought it, with the exception of a few very fine hairline scratches on the glossy, blue lid. I haven't heard anything about...

What sort of laptop I should buy?

I fail to see why the laptop I recommended wouldn't last at least 3 years. I couldn't justify wasting the money on the newer i3 or i5 builds with what he'll be using it for, especially since the Toshiba L305D-S5934 is a pretty capable notebook.

    Looking for a CS4 laptop $1100-1500

I just bought the Sony VAIO VPCF115FM. It retails at Best Buy for $1349.99. If you're a rewards member (free to be), you get about $25 of that back in 31 days. If you wait until they're in-stock online again (2-3 weeks from now, tops I'm told) you can get 7% cash back through Bing Cashback (a...

    Changing IP adress

Just sign up for another dial-up service and BAM, you've got a new IP address :good: NetZero still offers free dial-up, albeit only 10 hours a month.. still, it's something! -Michael EDIT: ..and when your 10 hours run out, sign up for an account at Juno for another 10 hours.

What sort of laptop I should buy?

If you don't mind buying refurbished (direct from Toshiba, the maker of the laptop), the L305D-S5934 is only $369 right now! I used this model for a little over a year (it was a brand new model 13 months ago) for everything you listed in your first post, and much more, and when I bought it it...

    This is Why You Backup!

What demographic do you think buys Macs the most? You might be surprised to find that said people generally know very little about their computers, or computers in general, let alone something as, for lack of a better term, far out as the file size limitations of FAT32. I'm willing to bet...

    This is Why You Backup!

So he's uninformed, so what? Not everybody's a nerd  I have two Seagate FreeAgent external drives, both 250GB. One is FAT32, the other is NFTS. Both are used daily, the FAT32 drive is used exclusively for watching HD content on my PS3 and 360. Neither has let me down in the year...

How much would you pay for this laptop?

The M9750 came with dual 7950 GTX's in SLI and the display is 1920x1080. It's capable of 8GB of DDR2 RAM, and DDR2 is pretty cheap now so you can upgrade that at a lower price-point. That model also came equipped with b/g/n WiFi, a second HDD bay (I believe you can set them in RAID as well, but...
