its the xp.. and its because this thing has cool and quiet on it. cant disable in in bios either. but it bumps to 2.1ghz when under load, it just does not register with windows as that. I had to use CPUIID to get that.

I bought a new processor for this laptop and now that I installed it, its running at 530mhz only. and the multiplier is only 4X.. this is not corerect this should be a 1.6 or 1.6ghz processor.

AHH this makes sence now. The problem was it kept checking "allow only programs in program files and windows folder to run", but both the programs were installed directly on C drive, not in program files.
