Okay you want an amd CPU for your over the top pc? Intel is where its at.
Also what do you mean by AGP ports? They are long gone its PCI express now.
What 5 graphics cards? thats just stupid. Most of your post is jibberish to be honest.
Here you go
MOBO: ASUS Rampage IV Black Edition $650...
Dont plug it back in. This can potentially start a fire, so replace the PSU. This is what happens when there is too much current for the wire to handle and it overheats, a short somewhere as okey said or bad connection. Make sure you get a good quality psu from a known brand.
Great build man! Thats sweet those heatsinks keep it all that cool. Im after something like this thats more powerful and not neccesarily passive cooling..
Overclocking is when you increase the factory default speed of the graphic processor and memory. Dont try overclocking your card unless you understand exactly what your doing.. you can overclock in ati catalyst or nvidias equivalent. there are also 3rd party apps that do it in better detail.
What is your pc specs?
Do you hear a beep when the pc is turned on?
Do you have a spare monitor around? You can do some fault finding by trying a different monitor
It could be anything really. What you need to find out is if the system is still booting
No you cant crossfire those cards together, they are from different family of GPU. Preferably they should be exactly the same card.
Its not worth it money wise to crossfire running a single monitor, just buy a single GPU upgrade
Its an absolute POS. Throw it away. 14 amps on 12v rail is peanuts.. It can't supply the power you need to run that card, meaning it will run at 100% and that's not where these crap supplies are rated to run at. Meaning dirty power and fried components.
This problem you see is the graphics...
Sup guys, I need a cheap card equivalent or better than a 4890. I noticed everything is better on the 7790 except the memory band with... So is a 4890 better cause of the higher bandwidth?
Have you checked your cpu and gpu temps? download everest maan check temps idle and when gaming, gpu overheating will throttle its performance to protect itself from shizzllliin
Hey, just a question about overclocking.. I have my 920 at 4ghz. So cpu-z says it is but in windows and in everest it only registers at 3.8ghz. I have HT, c1 and turbo off. I trust cpu-z to be the correct one? but just need to be sure.
