well at the moment i dont have a sound card, im just using onboard sound. My motherboard is a nVidia nForce2 400, and i was thinking the getting a sound card and using that instead of onboard sound would fix the problem. P.S Im still learning how to spell speakers

yeh well the thing is, that the speackers only crakle when a program is about to freeze or the computer restarts. I am sure that the speakers are fine and this happens when i go to LAN partys aswell. I was thinking that maybe using a sound card seperate to the motherboad would fix it up.

I have a GeForce 4, and i'e never had this problem before with any other newish games, like NFSU2 doesnt have that problem and even older games like Sacred and games like CS dont have any problems.

Hi Everyone, I have just got a splinter cell demo but when i go to run it it says i need the "Shader Model 1.1". 1st of all i dont know what a shader model is and 2nd of all how do i fix this?

Well i have a LCD monatar an sometimes i have to do that aswell, and it fixes it up good, so it might b the fact that its a LCD monitar, i dunno if it happens to normal monatars.

I use Bear Share and i find that OK.

Well I am the same, just select what I want to copy and then press Ctrl+C and to paste just Ctrl+V.

Thanx alot atomic, thats fixed it up. For everyone else it wasnt as much as an error message but the installer program was saying that i didnt have the right OS, and it happend just before it would normaly start installing.

Well I don't know how to fix your problem but i would just like to say that CoD is a sweet as game, i haven't ever played a game as good as this. I don't know what makes it so good, but what ever it is it sure has me hocked:)
