ok i got 2 IDE plug ins and i have them both hooked up with a drive IDE 0 : CD Rom IDE 1 : HDD Ill try your idea above ^^^^

that didnt work. it worked to boot a cd but every time you go into bios there is no Master or slave where i needs to be here take a look. and if there nothing there it wont boot anything up. i dont know why. Ill my drives are set to slave and master and nothing will show up.

I have them slave and master and it still wont boot the Cd rom to put windows on. I had to put a new Bios battery in and crap but it still wont detect the HDD and CD rom any ideas. Its a HP and its the older ones . Its IDE drives. thanks. Cody.:D

Hello im going to upgrade my dads computer. Im going to put an 60mb hdd and 30mb hdd. Well he is running windows 98 se. I want to upgrade it to windows xp SP2 . He has a Partition for a back up for the 98 so when the computer crashes he can put in 2 cds and it will reformat and install windows...

is there a a way i can have my 60gb ( OS ) and use the 160gb as free space. like all my programs go there or it will automatic put my files there on the 2nd hdd ?

Ok im willing to reinstall windows. I have a MSI PM8PM-V motherboard. I have a P4 motherboard. Ok what i want is to have my hard drive one (160 GB ) to combined with my 2nd hdd ( 60MB ). so ill have around 220 GB of space how can i raid my 2 hard drives ? Thank you.
