It's not illegal. It's books like the history of this area and has info on my ancestors on both sides of my family. To much info to just borrow the book and write it down. And some of the books are hard to fit on a flatbed scanner. Some like old newspapers can't be borrowed.

What I need is one I can carry to a library open a book and scan some of the pages. Any one every used one of them? And how good do they work?

Are there any good hand held scanners? The type you just slide or roll over the pages and the scan strips and the software put the page together.

I think I may have fixed the problem. After trying about everything and getting ready to do a complete system recovery I tried one more thing. I completely removed Firefox then reinstalled it. So far, so good. Thank you.
