You'd think so. Nothing like the front panel's usb power cable causing a short when all signs point to the Power Supply. Saved me money though, so I'm happy :P

Alright. so basically a light switch was broken in our kitchen, and my father had to switch the circuit breaker off so that he could mess around with it. He didn't know what it was connected to, so he switched off...
Here you are talking about how expensive his laptop is, then you criticize people for going with a cheaper computer. Yes, I built my computer. No, I most likely wouldn't buy a premade one. But that doesn't mean everyone shares our opinion. There are people that don't have any need for a 1337...
The ram would be at about....855 or so. Its the FSB times two since its ddr2 ram. There should be an option in your bios that lets you change the multiplier of your ram and will then display the ratio right below it.
Its intels speedstep. Look at it under load and itll jump up to 9. It conserves power and lowers heat when your cpu isnt under stress, but then increases the multiplier when it is.
Those are great temps, especially for that cpu. At 3.25 ghz (up from 2.33), my 6550 is running at 22 ish idle, and goes up to about 40 for load, but im in a cold basement :D.
