it seems as though i have fixed it. i found an older version of xp without service pack 2 and it booted up like normal. about time too

the hard drive is a samsung SP2004C. only happened after i used killdisk to re zero the hard drive. i've tried to boot from the cd but it still says error loading operating system. Will someone please tell me if i need a new hard drive or not?

I need help, i just used killdisk on my other computers hard drive and now it says that on startup. it was running fine before i used it, and i've searched everywhere for a solution.

did it happen the 1st time you used your hard drive or was it working before hand. mine has only just done the same when i used killdisk on it and now it keeps on saying that every time i start it.
