I'd get the 8800gt 512mb, it outperforms the 8800gts 320mb, and current 640mb, however the new 8800 640mb outperforms the gts by a little, but it's not worth the price difference. Just get the 8800gt and you'll be happy.

Some people recommend like 12 hours of orthos, i'd say like 2 hours should be fine.

Can someone detect if you over clocked your video card? I know that they shouldn't, if there is no dmg or if you didn't do anything physically right? Asking just to make sure, someone I'm trying to sell my card to asked if i oce'd it, i did, but said that i didn't, he shouldn't know any...

Apparently the new 8800gts 640 will be based on the g92 core, the one which is coming out in a few weeks, wonder how much better it'll be over the gt, and how far it'll outperform the current top cards. (gtx,ultra)

It is possible to step up to any card really, i talked to a rep and they said that price isn't an issue. I would have also done this, but i don;t live in the us, and it would have cost me around $90 for shipping and tax, not to mention waiting 2-3 weeks. So i decided to put it up on ebay...

i just submitted the step up for the 8800gt 512mb at evgas site. Luckily i still had 1 day left in my window before it closed on the 31st.

I would get the ps3 version, the ps2 wireless controller has a lag to it, or at least I feel it does. Plus you have an HDTV so it'll look nice. Only problem is I think it's like $10 more, which isn't much of an issue.

i don't like it, style put me off, i prefer ffxi type mmorpgs. Plus i don't have time for these games anymore. i wouldn't play it even if it was free.

for some reason, i didn't like it too much...this type of mmorpg isn't what im used to i suppose (like ffxi type) I played it back when it was a closed beta, didn't like it much, eventually uninstalled it

no, can't say i have, but at the same time, im used to playing crazy fps games like ut3, so i doubt i can from games.

considering i missed the first one, and how crysis made me realize how good far cry 1 was based on what pple are saying, i must say i really am looking forward to this game.

k well you should at least wait till November cause they are releasing the new 8800gts 640mb then, which is supposed to be better than current, or you can just buy it now and step up...but thats too much of a hassle and probably waste of time and cash.
