Well, I tried SpinRite on it - no cigar on that one. Though the drive shows in the BIOS as a 2 meg, SpinRite does not see it. Dang! I was hoping. Now I have to find some other ideas. . . . . . . . . I'm certainly open to suggestions.

I always toss the disk and download the latest drivers from the manufacturer. The single channel suggestion was only meant to try to see if it woould run, not intended as a permanent thing.

I have the identical unit. It is awesome. Carry it anywhere, it grabs wifi very easily with any fiddling around. I walk into a coffee shop, turn it on, wait a few seconds and I'm online! Of course you have to scroll a bit more but who cares? Have fun with the new toy!
