maybe i could fix this issue by plugging in somebody elses HDD and exploring the files in my drive in my computer?

i have a HDD im locked out of and i figure the best way to fix it is to reformat. however im going to plug in a diff HDD to my tower to save some files. i dont have my key anymore for my win 7 disk but is there a way to explore the HDD in my computer and find out what the key is?

no, keyboard and mouse dont work in safemode. the second windows loads i loose power to both devices

i recently installed a program for firmware recovery on my iphone and during the install i lost power to my mouse and keyboard, thinking it was an error i restarted my comp and the mouse lights up and the keyboard works untill the win 7 startup screen when they both instantly stop working again...

actually it only does it for you if its on in the first place which mine came default off. =/. and these are all my recent installs, i have 310GB used up on my HDD and all those programs arnt showing up thats the problem. and this just randomly occurred it seemed.

im running windows 7 and my add/remove program list isnt populating correctly, everything before a certain mark is gone but everything after this displays. microsoft tech support was a complete joke. what should i do?

i download the vista recovery iso (because i dont have 1 myself) from 2 different sources and got he same result. i burned them and ran them on start up. the disc loaded and a vista themed background came up but with no window, words, pictures etc. just a background. how do i fix this?

ok i got you, come to think of it something went wrong on the first clone attempt and i had to do it again, maybe thats were it went wrong. ill re partition it and try again, tyvm
