It's very possible. I had the same kind of problem not so long ago using 3rd party carts. The black cart I have in the printer now reads as having 2 blocks of ink left, but prints nothing. I'm sticking to the brand printer cartridges now.

Are you using Epson made cartridges or third party compatible ones? You may have some problems using the third party ones. Also, If you've installed and reinstalled the cartridge a large number of times it may have contributed to inaccurate measurement readings. Make sure you use the...

I remember using a login manager of some sort that reset the login files, but unfortunatly I can't remember the name of it. Try searching google for something along the lines of login/logon manager. Perhaps you can even try extracting the logonui.exe file from the XP cd.

Best thing to do is to lookup the specific problem on the Symantec website or otherwise. They will often tell you to switch off system restore prior to fixing or patching.

I would assume that it refers to the licensing aggreement in that, as you say, it's only allowed to be installed on one computer.

DivX Digest is a particularly useful website dealing with dvd backup and conversions.

Have you checked to see that all the audio levels are up in Sounds and Audio Devices? Don't know of any software. You would probably get better results using an external amplifier.

I have a use for floppys in that I've got a keyboard with a disk drive for transfering midi and other sequence files. Though musical hardware and the such seem to be gearing towards flash drives now anyway. I have no need for them in terms of PC only use.

Click 'tools' in any folder, then select 'folder options' in the view tab, untick the check box that says 'hide extentions'
