You will notice the difference between the graphics cards instantly. The CPU, if you put it under the right stress(not hard to do lol) will be very noticeable also. Hope this helps any :D

Well they dont make the GTX 280 any more, so you could get a 295 but those are way OPed in my opinion. I would get the GTX260 216core, it is a sick card, quiet and from what ive seen can compete with the 4890. Thats my 2 cents, hope it helps.

The raptor has faster speeds, id personally use the raptor to boot, and video games that i play mainly. If you are using it for video/sound editing then id def say write too the raptor and store on the 1tb, it will save you time. No reason to have a raptor if your not going to boot stuff off...

Yeah just from looking at the pictures that case has almost no room, you would have to get a short card. And like i said before if you were to get a new GPU you would also have to upgrade your PSU. I would be worried about the GPU over heating in a small unventilated case like that.

Well that computer has a 220W PSU, you would have to replace the PSU if you were going to add any kind of decent graphics card. you are probably better off building your own system. Do you have a keyboard/monitor/mouse/Operating system already?

I know, but it was failing after like 30mins so this is good news for me. I am going to run it over night and through class thats almost 12 hours.

I changed the CPU FSB from 1.30V to 1.35V and ran prime95. Seems to be working went through 3 tests with out failing. My RAM is set at 800, it should be 1066, if i up it to 1066 am i going to have to change the voltages or anything?

Is there a x64 version of memtest or should i just use the x86 one?

I looked through every BIOS option there is no speed step. I have speedread though. I disabled that and all 4 cores over 30mins preformed fine on small FFTs, but failed after 3 mins on blend.
