    Server Build

Yeah, I realised it wouldn't be a good drive for heavy writing workloads, hopefully once the servers are up it should just be a matter of maintenance, patches and such. The servers on that site are damn expensive, for the same price I could build something more powerful, can some server...

The highest they have is the R440 which is 1300 euros https://www.pccomponentes.com/dell-poweredge-r440-intel-xeon-4110-16gb-600gb

    Server Build

The server would just be for hosting games and most likely not much else, I'm already using a basic hp server with ecc mem as a file server. My budget is 2000 euros, ofc I want best bang for the buck, something that meets my needs without over spending. I would like the remote management...

    Server Build

Ok, this is what I have so far: Only a little more expensive than an ssd of the same size, and a fair bit cheaper than other NVME's https://www.pccomponentes.com/intel-consumer-ssd-660p-1tb-nvme-m2-pci-express-30-retail Want two kits for a total of 64gb's...

    Server Build

I've been told that fiber will be available in my area in the near future so I will be able to do something I've wanted to do for a long time, build a dedicated gaming server :D. Would you guys recommend me using vm's so I can work on individual game servers without having to interrupt others...

    New desktop buy

Holland, what sites do you use in Holland to purchase parts online? I'm sure with 700 euros you could get a decent cpu, dedicated gpu, 16gb ram, a boot ssd and some storage. Have a look on https://tweakers.net

    New desktop buy

Where are you from, what is your budget and what programs are you going to be using? I'm no video editor, but I don't think an apu is going to be your best choice.

    Hard Drive clicking...

Sorry but you are learning the hard way that you should always have a backup, drives will die and it's just a matter of time.

Are My M.2 SSD Pins Broken?

I'm pretty sure solder would adhere, but getting it perfectly flat would be very difficult and you would be subjecting it to a lot of heat trying to do so, you would be better off trying a conductive pen.

Are My M.2 SSD Pins Broken?

I was thinking along the same lines, but was unsure how to pull off such a fix. If the drive is malfunctioning then I guess you have nothing to lose by trying to fix it, I'm sure it's worth a go for a few bucks. I was thinking, get the finest grit sandpaper you can get your hands on, rubbing...

Are My M.2 SSD Pins Broken?

I don't see any missing pins, it's hard to tell by looking at a picture but those pins look like they have had a rough time and have been somewhat gouged. I know pins suffer from scoring which causes discoloration and dulling of the suface, this usually happens over time or when they have been...

    4k gaming pc

I have had a 4k panel since 2012, in my experience gaming performance is going to depend heavily on the gpu, the cpu is only required to run the game and deliver at least 60fps for your 60hz panel. In 2012 I used a 3770k and now I'm using a 8700k, which is still today a very fast gaming cpu...

WIndows 10 Where is the pressure point?

I have used Premiere Pro a bit, I found that the use of gpu hardware acceleration was very limited and only helped when using certain effects, since I using very few my gpu had little to do. A few years ago I bought an rx470 for an old system, the 470 has hardware accerleration that supports...

    Build Boosted PC

As far as know the only way to do this would be manually, you build multiple pc's and you personally delegate different jobs to each to spread the workload, I don't think there's any way to spread a task over multiple cpu's in different systems, there's probably specialist computers out there...

    Desktop

I have never steamed so I'm no expert, but considering it's one of the best gaming cpu's you can buy and it has way more threads than most games could ever hope to use, my guess is yes it should be able to handle streaming also.

This pc will do a good job at running fortnite. As for whether or not it was a good decision, this depends on what you paid for it.

Can't find compatible RGB RAM for Z390 AORUS PRO

Agreed, I also never look at the QVL, I think ram compatibility has more to do with the ram than the motherboard in most cases, just keep to quality ram and you should be ok. Regarding RGB I assume you need to make sure they are compatible with the motherboard so you can control them through the...

    DuckDuckGo vs Ecosia?

Its true that privacy helps many bad people with something to hide, but more importantly for us law abiding citizens privacy is about protection. No matter who collects your data it's at risk of being misused, we have seen examples of this time and time again and the more privacy you give up the...
