Please see my signature and advise on overclocking to roughly an even 3.0ghz (or stable level)
I honestly don't know where to begin, maybe i'm just hesitant. I overclocked it the other day about 10mhz to test it. It rebooted 5 times in a row and then was okay..didnt register the 10mhz change...
You have a fairly modest setup at the moment but to play decent games at an acceptable level I'd recommend trying to find an 8800GT (maybe overclock it a little). As far as RAM, your 32bit operating system will recognise a maximum of 3.5GB so get a single 4096mb (4GB) stick of DDR2 and simply...
G'day.
First up i'm selling an Nvidia GT240 1GB in Melbourne, Victoria $60.
Also what is the difference between Core, Memory and Shader clocks when overclocking? I can't find a straight answer.
Thanks -
Hi
Just wondering if anyone knows if there is a no dvd patch for F.E.A.R 2 Project Origin. I can't seem to find one anywhere and no longer have my original dvd for the game.
Any help appreciated -
What are some good programs to download to ensure my computer stays quick, healthy and unclogged?
I currently use AVG Free, Spydoctor, CC cleaner, disk cleaner and defrager.
Any advice is appreciated, thanks -
Please help, I really enjoy my mmorpgs but have recently taken a break and now can't choose what to buy - theres so many out there. If anyone can offer some ideas as to what I would like it would be very appreciated!
Aspects I like in an mmorpg:
- Fantasy themed
- Medieval style
- PvE over...
Hmm, a trend is forming that people think I was addicted. I think I got bored because I wasn't addicted and didn't reap end-game rewards. Just a thought I saw WoW as more of a comfort measure. Doing great without playing it. Such a fail game in retrospec.
Thanks for your input. To be quite honest though I played alot of Wolfenstein, Call of Duty and Fallout as well as Crysis to put my computer through it's paces and monitoring FPS. I spent a few weeks pay on 5.1 surround for supporting games as well as spending many nail-biting moments...
Yeah I agre with you completely Midnight. I have discovered I enjoy the technological side of it much more than the actual gaming. I love setting up 5.1 Audio and getting a crisp HDMI picture you know. The gaming is just an extra tbh.
Yeah that's true but the graphics are extremely satisfying and should be even better with HDMI soon.
Btw, I love your pic. I'm creating a mural soon and it's given me some grand ideas.
I'm an avid PC user and obviously enjoy the technological side of computing very much; typically gaming, audio and the mechanics of modern computing. However, the other day I made a rash decision to leave it all behind...
I played WoW a fair bit (three level 80's) but always felt like it...
Update, price reduced.
