hey, my sisters computer is infected with this spyware called adware.virtumonde. i looked it up and from what i gather, it causes popups and the usual crap like that. its really pissing me off because i think i have gotten rid of the spyware, but i cant delete the registry keys. here is a hjt...

yeah i had that program not too long ago...never used it though. will it delete important registry keys or just the old ones for programs i no longer have? do you have any idea what kind of entry this trojan left behind? what should i be looking for? thanks i downloaded it the other...

I searched back through my test results and found the path for the file, but the file no longer exists??? Does this mean that it is gone? Am I safe from this Trojan or am i still possibly infected?

howdy, its been a long time since i have posted on this forum, but im glad it here:). as you might be able to tell, i have a trojan/virus/whatever it is called "exploit.wmf" on my computer and i need to get rid of it. i was doing a scan with avg free yesterday, and this thing popped up...

ok, i hooked up my speakers differently and its working. my onboard sound is supposed to support 8 audio channels. it has line in, mic, and speaker connector, and below that is where you plug in for 8 channel. i had all three connectors on the bottom 3 plugs and it wasnt working, so i swithced...

ok, now the drive is showing, but there is also an icon in the system tray that says "safely remove hardware". can anyone tell me how to get rid of this icon? :confused:
