he doesn't need a video out on the card, he just needs video in so he can record the shows on to a dvd using the burner, then he can just pop in the dvd to his dvd player on the tv so a simple tv tuner card will do, and theres all kinds of software out there for you, just google for PVR...

building a media center and looking for the cheapest way of running it through the tv, I remember the USB to AVI adaptors but I can't seem to find them, anyone got any other suggestions? I'm looking for something really cheap, and the PC doesn't have AGP slots. Thanks :cool:
