I'm not just looking for (only) a gaming upgrade, an all round upgrade is my plan. After 4 years I think it just needs an upgrade. My CPU is no longer clocked at the speed in my sig (half the time its standard) and I want a mobo that will allow me to SLi etc... so thought i'd just go all out :) lol

I know you said you don't want to buy a router, but that is by far your easiest option. Your other option is to link the two computers with a crossover cable (would require buying a second Ethernet PCI card for the main PC) and using the main PC as a gateway.

Yeah, without using CCleaner, manually finding those files would have been a pain. I didn't even know they were there before! And 10GB can be a lot when your HDD is nearly full! :)

It's not just about speeding it up. It can also remove unnecessary files. I haven't run it for ages and this thread reminded me to do so, just removed 10GB! of stuff lol

My ISP doesn't appear to be utilizing IPv6 yet. But it is nice to see that progress is actually being made, although I'm not looking forward to trying to memorize 128bit(?) long alphanumeric IP's lol.

I secure my wireless at home, but I don't use a strong password for it. The signal barely reaches the whole house (completely solid walls), and it's not easy to get a signal from outside. But I do also live in a neighbourhood where the average age is about 50+ so I'm not too worried about...
