    Cpu trouble

CPU and Mobo probably do work together, might be a build problem though as you say. Just thought: Is it set up to the right CPU in the bios? If it aint it muight be why. Checked the pins for damage as well?

    AAACK! Help!

Ooh dear. You may have killed the power supply AND completely ****ed the H/D. Bad move, you can get away with plugging the likes of fan's and cathode's in, but not anything like that. get a new PSU, and let's hope that all that has been killed.

    PC starts up randomly?

Yeah, bitch of a probelm. First off, is windoo's set to turn on when the mouse moves? sometime tension in the mouse cable can change over time, and it'll move enough to register and turn on. Especially infa-red ones. Also, sometimes a power fluctuation. Get a surge protector, although it...

    Adding second HD

If your setting the XP as a slave, win 98 won't recognise it as it's NTFS, i belive. So your a bit ****ed unless you want to upgrade to XP, and if im right, and the convert tool to change FAT32 to NTFS just buggers your H/D. Don't use it. I did, and i had to pay to get the data retreived.

    Build your own case

Depends how much heat you intend to generate. For heavy overclocking, as many as possible, about 4's the usual. As said obove, 2-3 for an average build. Im running two in my gaming machine, on 7 volts with fan speed controller, noly turn them up when the heats gets too high, noisy buggers they are.

    Unkown Mobo Help

Ahoy, new round here, and hi to all. Just started building me a computer, first time, and i would like to identify my motherboard, and i don't have a clue what it is. It is a Socket A (or 462 or near, as it says) and came with a Duron 1100Mhz. On the board itself is printed 3902A568, next to...
