What is the best laptop for a reasonable price?

Ill still chime in with the inspiron 15 7559 as best bang for your buck, but it still comes in at 700 bucks, and some people do not want to spend that

    Best Laptop to Buy?

Going to say it again - dell insprion 7559, spec it out as you please and you should be happy with it, only issue its on the heavy side - its no ultrabook but it gets decent battery life with its 74 watt hour battery.

Can i put a VR card in this Dell?

id heavily advise against the evga card, friend has one, its died twice due to heat sag. buy something with a backing plate if you are going to go non-ref cooler, or stick with the ref cooler.

    College/Gaming Laptop

zenbook is kind of pricey for what it is, id recommend this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=1TS-000A-00ED2&cm_re=insprion_7559-_-1TS-000A-00ED2-_-Product (add a samsung 850 evo and another 8 gigs of ram yourself, and it will come in about 1200 dollars, skip the whole SSD they...

"Amazon fire 7 inch tablet" not loud enough when using headphones.(too quiet at full volume)

Sounds like a impedance problem yea, the headphones you are using are just not meant to be run off a mobile device, though if you are for closed cup headphones and want decent volume - the sennheiser 439s will do the job nicely on all integrated audio solutions.

    Upgrade Laptop or Buy New?

The Inspiron 7559 is a good buy, just skip the SSD during configuration and do it yourself, I popped a 850 evo into mine, and it screams.

Should I buy an MSI Gaming Laptop?

dell insprion 7559 is better bang for buck. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Dell-Inspiron-15-7559-15-6-Inch-Notebook/dp/B0185P47QY/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1462128867&sr=1-1&keywords=dell+inspiron+7559

    Sager laptops

I have no problem with the cooler, it will run nice and quiet, and wont be a big heavy skyscraper hanging and stressing the motherboard. I would change up and get yourself windows 10 pro, but thats generally how i do things.

Laptop with both RAM and flash memory

Buy yourself a samsung 850 m.2 drive, clone the harddrive, and install another 8 gigs of ram. it will scream.

    Sager laptops

Buy a lightweight and efficient laptop for school second hand - i recommend a lenovo thinkpad t440, you can get 8 hours out of it on battery with conservative settings. Then buy or build a desktop for gaming. School and gaming laptop do not go hand and hand, though my inspiron 7559 is a decent...

Which to buy? Don't know how much spec I need

Going to suggest the inspiron 7559 off dell's site, check for rebates and stuff, I was able to sneak another 250 off the price off my 7559, its a big laptop...but its pretty powerful, and comes standard with a i5, 8 gigs of ram and a 1tb harddrive and 1080p screen. with some tweaks to the way...

    New Laptop Decision

    I was going to chime in with the insprion 7559, but, cant really question that decision either - the inspiron can get 8-10 hours, if you have it configured right, just takes a little fiddling because of the discrete graphics card going "I CAN HELP" when it is not necessary c.c;

*POST YOUR TABLET OR PHONE HERE*

The inspiron was a faster and cheaper machine than the surface 4, even with the 4k screen and i7 upgrade i spent less than 1200 bucks on it, and it has a dedicated graphics card as well, only downside is its a little bulky, but that does not bother me.

*POST YOUR TABLET OR PHONE HERE*

God just got the SSD installed in the Inspiron, and it screams, boots in about 10 seconds, and just does everything I need... Makes me glad I did not grab a surface, I can live with this, and if i need more storage...I can upgrade again :)

    I became that guy today...

I just accidentally formatted a drive that I was using for storage. Anyone have any applications they can recommend for recovery? I am currently trying EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard on Trial to see what it digs up.
