Just to clarify the top picture is of the speakers on the bottom, they have two wires coming out, im guessing one for the higher sounds and one for the low. The second picture shows the bigger speakers i have one top which only have one wire..

right, for the 'rear speakers' im using those plugs just to act as tweeters i guess? i just changed the positive and negative to match but i dont think it made a difference anyway... so the reason why ive joined the wires (the two going into each terminal) is because i thought that the subs in...

Hey , i have came a across a large MKV video which is in 1080 hd.... my computer struggles to play that and is very choppy so i was wondering what good software's are available [for free] that can downscale the size of the video so my ancient Dell Optiplex 160l could play it with no trouble. I checked the audio control panel and it has the option of either stereo or quadraphonic and also has a box you can tick if you want surround sound. but does that mean it can only do four speakers?
