I would strongly suggest you change the default ssh port to something other then 22.
(it's configured in /etc/ssh/sshd_config by default)
Check /var/log/auth.log for details on who has attempted to login.
Since this is facing the world, I would suggest you set up a firewall if you haven't...
Blender is a nice, free option.
If you're enrolled in school of any kind, you can get AutoDesk products for free. If you want to do stress testing, I would suggest using AutoDesk Inventor.
No need to switch cables or anything
1. Install windows to one drive
2. Install Linux to other.
3. Select OS on startup.
That's all there is too it. GRUB (the bootloader) doesn't care how many drives you have.
If you use dd in linux to make a backup, it copies block by block, so everything is preserved. Everything. This includes free space (free blocks) in the drive, so it's a 1:1 copy/backup ratio unless your compress the resulting image.
So when you go through this, you don't get the option in step 4 to upgrade?

You need to checkout the code using the client.
The project page here:
https://code.google.com/p/easistentweb/source/checkout
says that you should use the url
http://easistentweb.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/easistentweb-read-only
when checking out the code.
