None of the links work. I wouldn't use another VIA chipset if you paid me $1000. They are such poor performers.

I hope that HDD is a Samsung, and not a WD.

Never heard of Raidmax???

It's hard to tell about the price because you can't visit the links to see what products they are. The RAM is nice. I like the idea of a 512MB VGA, but I can't tell who makes it or anything.

he said he had problems with WD, EVERY company has had a bad batch of something.... so he's predigests against WD, shit, i have had more seagate die from overheating alone then i have had WD's die on me overall.... which has only been 2 deaths of WD, and 6 of Seagate... and you wouldn't want to get this computer from dell... it would easily hit 2k.... also, you can get a gold membership card or something and pay monthy

That build is pretty sweet just shy of $1,200 but that one guy said don't use a WD HDD. Also could you tell me why this build is better so I can know in the future?

And is there anyway I can I pay monthly payments for this stuff? Like if I bought from dell or something?

I could tell you horror stories upon horror stories about WD.. Remember, these guys are the same guys that are trying to convince people that the number one computer manufacturer in the world is junk, so I would take it with a grain of salt if I was you.

Anyways, grab a Samsung. You'll be happy with it. Next in line is Seagate and Maxtor. I don't have a lot of bad things to say about Hitachi either. They provide IBM with all their drives. They also make the IBM Deskstar line. Not too bad. It could be worse. It could be a Western Digital.

Dell will allow you to make payments if you have a good job and good credit. What I recommend to people is to just buy a part at a time if they are tight on funds and then build up enough parts to build a computer.

Well I wouldn't be paying for it my parents would, I would just pay them each month. So I'm just probably gonna get the newegg prefered account, which should work.

That all depends on your motherboard. I can't say for sure that all do, but at least every one I've seen has come with one onboard.

If you can squeeze them for more bucks maybe we can tweak a few things, that's all. Bribe them or something. :p

Your build is pretty decent.. It's just the mobo and the PSU I would be changing. An extra $100 would go a LONG way.
