I'm not sure of the make of the PSU, as i ordered a customized system online. But it cost over $30, and there was a bit of money of all items because i was buying a full system. Ok well here are the other specs:

Intel Core 2 Duo E4400
ASUS SKT-775 P5VD2 1066FSB
2gb DDR2 667 RAM
160gb SATA HDD
GeForce 8600GT 256mb GDDR3

If you're talking about the ultra psu i suggested you on your other thread then yes it should be enough for your system

I look at the quality of a supply not simply wattage. The recent sticky is one place to go for information on what make and wattage range you should look at depending on system. http://www.computerforum.com/90118-useful-psu-guides.html

With a new build the board supports 6 sata drives where the supply had to have the power connections for that. That was one reason for ordering a new 700w model instead of simply moving a good 550w model from the old case. The 480w that proceeded was loaned out for use in another case that sees a lot of milage there.

Without a number of other devices used that should work even with the 8600 series video card there. For ocing and any plans on SLI then you are looking at a heaiver model like 700w + to start off with.
