A question about uninstalling FSX

Many people are in the process of installing FSX SE. Before doing that we must uninstall FSX and all related scenery, aircraft, and utilities and it must be done completely.

My question is if there is a huge amount of scenery, aircraft, and utilities that have been accumulated over the years would it be better, quicker to do a full system recovery?

I understand one would have to bring back their browser and other things not related to flight sim but in the long run, would it be quicker and more thorough than un-installing everything individually and going

through the registry to make sure everything is gone? Obviously if one has few add-ons a full system recovery would not be worth it.

Just use Revo Uninstaller.

If you have collected all that I would hate to lose it all. That's why I'm still in FS2004. It weighs in at 55GB. I backed it up to three hard drives and tried Blu-ray, but the burner I bought was bogons. Have to get a different burner. The damn Blu-ray disk set me back 20 bucks too and now it's a coaster!
