About CS:S making your own server.

Hey i was wondering if i make my own server and when i'm not in it the server to be still open for other players do i have to pay for that or it's free? and how do you do that i usually spend about 3-4 hours a days playing CS:S in weekends maybe 7-8 i just luv that game. Thanks.

Hosting your own dedicated server is free, you need decent internet speeds, and a dedicated computer to host it. If your not on, playing, or on another server, and your server is up, and accessible, others may join.
