Adobe Photoshop CS3 Problem..

Hello everyone, iv'e been Virtually Tuning cars with photoshop last days, with Photoshop CS5, but now it seems like my computer ain't having enough stuff so it could run properly, so it crashes after ~30min.. so im thinking about taking back Adobe Photoshop CS3.. but i got a little problem when i tried to install PS CS3.. (i had uninstalled CS5 before installing CS3)

even if i try anyhow to install it, it always just installs the damn Shared Components... but not PS CS3.. what is the damn problem? and that is the same installer i've used before to install CS3, i just tried CS5... any help?

Possible reasons for these errors include, but are not limited to:

You may have insufficient disk space on the drive that you are installing to.
Your virus protection or firewall software might have invalidated the installation.
You have fonts that are locked.
You removed a CS3 pre-release version or the beta version of Photoshop by moving the application to the trash, rather than using the uninstaller.
You have left over files from a previous installation.
