ok, soo my friend stays online all the time, and i told him that i could probrably beat his online time, i want 2 see if i can Sign On 1 computer, 4 about 10hrs., then Sign On another computer, Sign Off the 1st computer, but stay on the 2nd computer, and still keep the 10hrs.? lol, instead of letting the 1 computer run forever. i used 2 do this when i had AIM on my cell phone, anybody know if i can do this?

Once you sign off or sign on in another location, im pretty sure the timer gets reset.

And AIM sometimes resets the time for no reason, so it's not a guarentee that it will keep counting the whole time.

if u mean like to see who has the longest online time, aim only goes up to 9 days online time and stays there...

It won't work, I tried it. btw you can run 2 aims on your computer if that means any use to you, the old aim 5.1 w/e and below and AIM TRITON

if you wanna beat him, just sign on the first pc, and whenever u want sign on the second one, and sign off whenever, but keep the other one on, you can have 2 on at a time

yeah, could it be because both computers are on the same network? like when im Signed On at home, then when i go over my friends house, and Sign On there, i get the "You Are Signed On in 2 Locations" Instant Message, and when i have both computers Signed On at home, i dont get the IM.
