AMD 4800+ Overclock Help

I have been trying to overclock my processor(yes I know how to and the specifics so dont flame) as high but stable as possible. I am curious to know what you are running your amd 4800+ dual core at and the specs. I tried to run a fsb:ram ratio, but it doesn't work to well for me.

Here is my specs and rock stable:
cpu - 2724
multiplier - 12
htt - 4
fsb/ram = 227 (1:1 ratio)

ram - 2.8 v
cpu - 1.49v (32 idle / 47 load)
mobo - 1.60v

Any suggestions on going higher or should I be happy? Again this is rock solid stable. I have tried running a (5/6) ratio, but system becomes unstable.

those athlon's don't overclock to well(well compared to the C2D). i got mine to 2.8ghz when i had it(x2 4800+) with fsb of 233mhz and a ram ratio of 7:6 ram ratio, dnt quite remember the voltage i had on it. but yea, but some CPU's just overclock better i think most ppl i've seen have theres around 2.7, 2.8ghz

and what type of ram do u have .. if ur running ddr 400 ram that might be ur problem, and depends if its branded or not and how overclockable ur ram is.. i only keept my ram at 200mhz

The 4800+ is the same architecture as the 4600+ but with a 1MB L2 cache right? 2.4GHz stock clock? I have my 4600+ @ 2.77 and stable. Absolutely anything over that and it's not though...even @ 2.80 it glitches on me. I think 2.77 is the edge of what it's capable of on my motherboard, or at least the edge of my overclocking skills.
