Where? Where does it say halo2 will NOT support dx10. Im almost 99% sure microsoft will have it be dx10 compatible. They arnt that stupid. Infact, wasnt it supposed to be ONLY dx10 and then so many complaints were filed that they started making it dx9 compatable?

Seriously, where on that site do they say "We are bungie and we tell you the requirements" anyway? Its just a review site.

Stick with your 7900gs, there was a fps release earlier this week where someone put out the amount of fps they got with their system. Its was a p4 and an x800 and they got a nice 30fps. Youll get plenty more then that, dont worry. Once the price comes down get the 8800 or something.

FPS (and some other stuffs)

To make H2V play excellent on this 7900gs.
Anything I can do?
Over clock the cpu and or graphic card itself?

More ram?

Thanks

I dunno why everyone's so hyped about Halo. I have played both 1 and 2 on the Xbox and honestly it wasn't too great. Yeah the story was good for a chanage but I would much rather prefer UT2K7, or something like that.

I get into arguements all the time at school about how Halo sucks :) especially on Xbox. I mean, what skill is required to move your thumbs in a circular direction and press a few buttons. The PC versions are a little better, but still...Halo FTL :o

How you push them, what time you push them, the combo you use, the weapons.

I respect your opinion, but I do not encourage anyone to bash halo and or any other game that might try to be better then halo...But fails :D :P

But this being vista, I saw a compared picture, there is a lot more detail in H2V.

You cant really compare xbox halo to halo 2 vista...

Cause you havent played it yet, and its something new.

Anyways, I am keeping my 7900gs, and not buying a dx10.

It takes more skill to do that than to play PC shooters. I saw a contest between PC Gamer and EGM, they had EGM use xbox360 wired controllers on Halo PC (which they all play A LOT) vs. the PC Gamer team with mice and keyboards. PC Gamer beat the crap out of the guys with the controllers.

Getting back to my question, lol.
Should the 7900gs and 2gb ram and the e6300 oc'd play H2V excellent?

I mean, if it plays it excellent, Ill buy a Dx10 in july or something...

But will it get me by?

And also, what are the most popular games, that play excellent on a 7900gs, that are popular at LAN parties.

Thanks
