Antec BasiQ PSU

Hey all, i was just looking for some thoughts and opinions of the Antec Basiq range of psu's. Im looking to build a my new system soon but don't want to spend a fortune on a power supply and so was rather happy when i came across the Antec Basiq 500W PSU.

Being Antec i presume its good quality even for the lower price, and im hoping it will be good enough to support an 880GT?

I wouldn't count on that that powersupply to power an 8800gt. At least get their Earthwatt line, the Basiq line is really the very bottom line for Antec.

That powersupply can only put out 29 amps total on the 12v rails.

I tried using the Basiq w a x1950 pro and bare minimum components. It was a no go. I got a Corsair vx450 and it booted right up.
