anti-static?

i heard that when building a computer, you will need to take anti-static maesures. is this really that important? what kind of damage are you likely to do if not taking the proper precautions?

static cause damage to hardwares. you dont really need them if you are careful, just remember to touch the metal part of the case first before touching anything inside the computer.

Probably not. Of course, not doing so requires some degree of common sense and general caution ... which is sometimes too much to assume... if you feel paranoid, go for it... not more than $10 so you'll be ok

"Likely" nothin unless you are really careless at which you probably deserve it (its pretty hard to serious destroy something)
