Any recommendations on good mmo's?

well i'm looking to play a good mmorpg game lately but cba'd to dl and try it all since my connection is slower than holy hell, damn you verizon dsl...

and please do not say World of warcraft.
 
Ok... Didn't know that... Wanted to know why you don't like it...

As for another MMO.. I don't know, look into Guild Wars. That seems to be pretty popular.

+1 for guild wars, it is still very popular and best of all free, and pretty fun.

LotRO is going F2P soon, so you could give that a go, wouldn't be losing anything, but from experience, it is utter crap, so may not be a good recommendation. I know some people that like it though, so it may be for you.

LOTRO is free now....but you gotta pay real $$$ for certain items. They basically went to the Free to Pay model.
 
I do not like MMOs, but the Old Republic is coming out soon, and it looks pretty freaking sweet. At least all the trailers online for it are awesome. Way cooler than the movies.
 
Aion or Guildwars id recommend i have both i play both guildwars i played til i got sick of i still play anyways but guildwars free to play online after you buy the game so thats not to bad and nowdays you can get the complete collection and if you have all the guildwars games linked to one account you can take your characters across the guildwars games other then that id recommend aion because its more mmo then guildwars is guildwars has a different approach

That game looks like it is going to be insanely good! Hopefully it will become my WoW replacement... am seriously bored of that game.

I won't touch any MMOs ever again. However, those trailers make me nerd rage how awesome they are and how lame the movies are compared.
