Anyone ever play Resident Evil on PC?

Im looking to get the new Resident Evil but only played in on my consoles,but just recently I got a new PC and been getting into games for it. Im just wondering how would the controls work on the pc,Im just wondering if anyone has played it on both pc and console and what do you recommend?
This appears to be more of a console game,but just im just wondering.
 
resi 5 will be like the console version im guessing as it has 360 controller support.

DOnt waste your time on resi 4, cheap as chips. Awesome game (one of my faves) but for PC its just horrible. Graphics are shit, and controler is the only way to play. Even then its quite hard to play.
 
I played both RE4 and RE5 on PC. I won't talk about re5. I didn't like the game at all. but RE4 it's still one of my favorite games. The controls on PC are very .. improvised, kinda hard to get used to, but after a few hours of play, you'll get the gist of it.
Tip: change the default keys. The default keys are horribly placed, and requires the hand to kinda jump from one side of the keyboard to the other. For example
i've put:
run - ctrl
gun aim - z
action - x
kinfe aim - c



I had all keys under my hand, and the overall experience was awesome.

Be careful, in the cut scenes, they will ask you to press "5+6" keys , this means z and c in my arrangement, and "1 3" will be x and ctrl.
