Are there bots for HL2:D and DOD:S?

I just installed HL2:D two days ago. I joined a server on HL2:D and honestly i sucked. DOD:S finished installing a few minutes ago. I want to practice first so my question is, are there bots for both games?
 
practicing on bots wont do much. you need to learn how actual people play the game, which you wont do playing with bots. i guess they could serve as a way to fine tune your aim. but honestly, if you suck, who cares?
 
i guess you're right. i started playing CS:S against bots and after a week or so i started playing online. i'm a pretty fair gamer if might say. for me, practicing for bots would help me a lot. HL2: D, i got a 0-12 start my first try.

question still stands, are there downloadable bots for HL2: D and DOD:S?
 
you have bots in CS:S,.. so my gues would be you have too in HL2:D and DoD:S too, since its based on the same engine and all :x never tried tough
 
Yes you have bots in DOD:S but they are not intelligent AT ALL... I found some info on the steam forum.
 
can someone link me to where i can download bots for DOD:S? I've tried googling it and came up with nothing. closest thing i came to was from fileplanet but i don't have an account.

how about HL2: D bots? do those exist?
 
I don't know for HL2:D but for DOD:S you cane enable them in the console if your on your own server I think. Check out the Steam forums for more info.
 
All you need to do to get bots in DOD:S is to type in this in the console:
sv_cheats 1 (press enter)
mp_limitteams 12 (or any other number, press enter)
bot (press enter)
Repeat the last step as many times as you want.

The server has to be yours obviously and remember that they'll just run around and not shoot unless you type in bot_flipout 1 in the console. Then they start shooting but they are unable to reload. To get more commands just type in bot_ and you should see a list of commands.
