backup games?

hey so i just recently bought an XBOX 360...and man are the games EXPENSIVE!!! i've also heard that the xbox can sometimes scratch the game discs? so um..i was just wondering...can i burn a copy of my xbox game so that i dont scratch up the discs?

I believe Copyright prevents you to reproduce the disc in any matter, for any reason.. but i may be wrong. I don't believe they (big brother) are clairvoyant however...

even if you burned a disc you wouldn't be able to play it without a complicated, illegal mod chip in your system.

Yeah...above two posts got it pretty well. I'm closing the topic as it is brushing those illegal issues.
