Backup question

I'm backing up a hard drive from a computer which the motherboard has died. Is it possible for an account on that was on that hard drive that was password protected to be un-accessible to me? Is there a way to enter the password so that I my back it up.

If everything on the hard drive is ok, switch around the jumpers when you install it into another computer.

Bare in mind it may boot up with a few problems. Considering the hard drive contains an operating system which had linked itself with totally different hardware.

I have already gain access to the hard drive and backed up the all the users accounts but one. When I click on this account folder I get an error saying it is not accessible access denied. If I boot to the hard drive it will crash since it is running windows XP.
