Best Mouse Pad & Wrist Rest for Gaming

My wrist has been uncomfortable lately while using my mouse, so I've been looking into getting a new mousepad & wrist rest, or perhaps just a wrist rest.

I've got the Razer Copperhead, so I need a mouse pad that can handle laser without any surface issues. I've looked at the Razer Vespula but the wrist pad has been reviewed poorly.

Any recommendations or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
