I can't seem to play BF2 online, When I try to make an account, it says that my Emails Address / Password is already in use?

Or my UniqueID is already in use

When I get around this, it sits on the 'Creating Account' for ages, it doesn't do anything, the background is still moving though and it is still responding. How long does it take?

Or, How can I log in if I already have an account? Thanks!
 
There should be a button/link that says "forgot your password?", then they will e-mail it to whatever e-mail address was used.
 
It isn't when I try and log into the EA web-site. It's when I'm trying to play BF2 online, actually in BF2...
 
I use the XP (I know, I know :P Recomend any good ones?) I have AVG too, but that couldn't stop it...

Yeah, I'm on XP, at the moment, for now anyway :P
 
Wait...do you mean you never had an on-line account for BF2 and it tells you that your account is already in use ? If that's it, it is probably because you have to choose another account name linked to your e-mail adress.
 
I've tried various combinations of different, usernames and passwords, and when it does accept it, it sits on the "now creating account" screen for ages and doesn't seem to be 'creating' it. The program is still working though, the animation in the background is still moving and the symbol mouse, you know the '2' that spins :(
 
hmm... could also be that EA's server is down (again:P). have tried repeatedly or just now?... Maybe it would work tomorrow ?

I have also another idea but I am not sure about it. Is your BF2 game patched already with the latest available patch ? If you have played it so far without going on-line and without patching your game so far, maybe that would be the reason for your issue with creating an account. Patch the game first and try again.
 
I've tried creating an account on EA's web-site, still doesn't do anything.

Thanks Vista, It isn't patched, so I'll try that, you got a link to the latest patch please? :)
 
Yep...many things to be patched in BF 2:P But lots of these are linked to server issues so it's probably worth a try...plus you'll get some additional maps to play not included in the game when you buy it !;)
