each time i play BF2142(demo), i get this error after about 5-20 mins into playing. u know, the standard "BF2142 has encountered an error and needs to close." how can i fix this???

Have you updated your video and sound drivers? The demo was known to give allot of people trouble. It could simply just be unstable for your PC. Perhaps there was a special demo patch? sometimes those are released.
Check for spyware etc. update drivers when necessary and good luck.
