BF2142 in all of EA's Idiocy

Alright! To get started, this is a fully legal copy of BF2142 bought at Walmart.... When I try to login, it gives the message below. OF COURSE IT HAS, EA RETRIEVED THE DETAILS AND EMAILED THEM... What must I do to fix this? I am so tired of having problems with EA games. There is always something with an EA game...

Have you emailed EA? Or is there some kind of customer support you can contact?

That sucks, im not sure if there is a way to fix that..

Maybe take it back to walmart in exchange for another copy with a different serial.
 
The thing with Wal-Mart is that they accept returns on games, which means that someone could have bought it before you did, used the CD key on their account, then returned the game, rendering your copy useless since the CD key was already used. The same thing happened to me when I bought Half Life 2. I took my copy back to wal-mart, got my money back, then went and bought the game at best buy. Now when I buy any video game, I ALWAYS pick one from the back.
 
I'd do what skidude said, return it and get it from somewhere else, it'll probably be quicker than waiting to send Emails back and forth to EA!
 
i had this problem with battle for middle earth

i rang up ea and they ask you to read out the number on the cd somewhere(its like a small number on the side of the disc with the picture on ) and give you a new cd key
 
I have had the game for a year and it worked on my old PC... So, that's why this is strange and I had EA email the username and password.
