Big Problem w/ Gigabyte board and 8800GTSOC

Hi there, I'm having quite the problem with my desktop. I have had the computer running on Vista without a problem for the last 3 weeks. I purchased a BFG Tech 8800GTS 640MB Version and the computer wont even post to the bios. It is the weirdest thing. I unplug the card and power to it computer boots up just fine. My specs are:

AMD 6200+X2 2.6GHz AM2
4 X 1 GB Corsair XMS2 800MHz
Samsung DVD+-RW - Sata
WD 80GB - Sata
WD 400GB - Sata
Gigabyte GA-M51GM-S2G
Thermaltake Coper heatsink / fan
Antec Smartpower 2.0 500W
BFG 8800GTSOC 640MB Version - If I could get it to work

The computer acts as if it isnt getting enough power and "turning everything over" to have everything working. Do you think it could be a power supply issue? I have whiped both of my hard drives to nothing on them in case it was something with those, and that did nothing. Any help would be great, I did send the card to BFG to see if it was defective and they sent me a new card tested and it worked for them so I know it isnt the card. Any help will be appreciated thank you!

I have solved the problem

From my PSU I needed to use the 2 Molex to one PCI-E Adapter, Oppose to a straight single PCI-E connector. Everything works great now.

500W is border for an 8800, its like the minimum that I will go if I was rich enough to get one of those beasts. I think it should be ok.
