You can either remain Level 50,Or Prestige..which will set you back to level 1 but prestiged...all weapons will be locked until you unlock them again.

Imo prestige is a waste of time,They should add more ranks & more unlockable weapons rather than prestige and having to do it all again for something you already have.


im lvl 38 or 39..cant remember :D

I have just reached 50 so i will stay where i am not going backwards.:D

Well its not all backwards,You get a new rank logo and an additional Create-A-Class slot i think.

It does not take long to rank up in COD though,If COD is all your playing atm then it might be worth it.
 
As he said above prestige is not worth it but I am am still doing it :rolleyes:. I am level 46 prestige level 1. When you prestige you lose everything which sucks but it does not take long to rank up again.
 
yea it is faster to level up after you prestege because it requires less xp apparently, also there are 15 prestege levels, im not even prestege 1 yet, can wait till i do
 
Whats the point,if you are going to get a better weapon or more perks then yes go for it but do you.

I quite like levelling so enjoy doing it again, or did on MW2 until I got half way through first prestige and realised how bloody awful the game is :P. Also, the extra slot can be really really useful.

I'm still happy with the lack of prestige in CoD4 though thank you very much :)
 
Oh it does take less to level up when you prestige? I had not heard that.

I wasn't going to do that because I don't really care to grind again. It's taken me about 2 months to hit the 40's. My time is split with other games.
 
Anybody having trouble with the sound on BOPS i have none at all yet i'm
ok with my other games.Get back to as soon as poss to save me blowing the computer up before i send it back.
 
ok so when u prestige, you lose everything youve unlocked. Guns, pro perks and even you COD money. However for every 2nd or 3rd prestige (cant remember) after your first one you get an extra custom class. So before you prestige you have 5 classes, and there is an additional 5 classes to unlock.
