I had a problem trying to play BLOPS,it would no load through Steam i found this on another forum and it worked for me.


I had this same problem. I validated the game cache, and my multiplayer works now. Give it a try.

1. Click steam icon and go to Library.
2. Right click Black Ops-Multiplayer and go to Properties.
3. Click the Local Files tab.
4. Click Verify Integrity of Game Cache.

When it's done, your multiplayer should work (at least this fixed it for me). This is something that I think steam normally does during an update, but it doesn't on some windows platforms. More than likely Win7 systems settings. I blame steam for this oversight

Validating the game cache basically just checks the program files to make sure they are all ok. If something is missing or broken, it will fix it, so if something got corrupted, by validating your files you fixed it and it worked again

All to do with DNS Server.You can think whats going through my mind begins with F ing and finish with computer.
