Book marking web sites

I came across a strange situation. I go on a web site and like it and book mark it into my favorites and ad it to a folder that I have there. I go back to it to click on it from time to time and it isn't there. There are only a few web sites that won't stay in my favorites when I ad them. Does anyone know why?
 
Have you tried dragging the IE address icon to the "links" menu to save them that way? There may be a security setting interfering with saving the links for certain sites.
 
It sounds IExplorer needs a fresh install which goes quick if you first copy any links already saved out the folder until you download and run a good running copy of it. Yes that means the usual redoing the address book after the one or more email accounts are setup again. If the following article describing administrative restrictions applies a registry value could be a preferred quick fix for this.
