Boots rarely. Won't turn on?

Hello fellow people:D

I have a Dell Latitude Laptop:
My computer won't turn on. I took the rechargeable battery out and waited for 30 seconds. I tried to turn it on and it would not boot.

I took out the rechargeable battery and pressed the button on it and the power meter indicates that the battery is at full strength. So I left the battery out of the laptop and tried to boot, but no success.

I put the battery back in. Another day, it booted up. Then yesterday, I tried again, and it would not boot.

Does any computer people know what the problem might be?

When you say it doesn't boot, does it not turn on or does it turn on but doesn't display anything on the screen?
 
  1. Unplug the laptop.
  2. Remove the battery.
  3. Hold down the Power Button on the laptop for 10 seconds.
  4. Replace battery.
  5. Plug in laptop.
  6. Start laptop.
  7. Leave the battery alone now ;)
