Browser viewing with bitmap, how do I change

For some reason my browser will only save files as BMP's. I cannot figure out how to get it to go back to JPEG. It seems to have happened when I installed Photoshop CS2. Does any body know anything about this?

* Late entry: So I surfed around some more pages and tried saving more picture and found like one that would let be save in JPEG. Large sites like Cardomain though still save as jpeg. What dictates the file type for saving? The original upload? Or the browser preferences.

Well I got Foxfire, and it fixed everything. Good bye I.E.
