burnt capacitor on xbox 360 cpu

I got rrod 0020 error, so i opened it up and saw in lines of capacitors next to the cpu one of them was black and fell of as soon as i touched it. Its also melted the mobos plastic, exposing the metal and now is touching the capacitor next to it. Is this whats causing the short?

i would say a shorted cap. is it ceramic or polorized (plus and minus). it can be a big problem to fix if the board is SMT (surface mount technology). got to have the right equipment to make this repair.
